Jewish Professional Women's Initiative
Women engaged in a variety of business and professional pursuits have discovered the Jewish Professional Women's Initiative (JPWI). The program includes periodic networking nights, a monthly downtown study lunch, and volunteer opportunities. More programming is being added all of the time. The events give professional women an opportunity to network, connect socially, be enriched Judaically and to collectively make a world of difference in our community.
This year, the Financial Services Division kicked off its first year of campaigning and programming. This enthusiastic group of Financial Services professionals strives to raise both awareness and funds from within their professional affinities to support THE ASSOCIATED and its agencies. They raised more than $300,000 for THE ASSOCIATED's 2007 Annual Campaign.
The Doctors' Division includes a variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians, dentists, optometrists, chiropractors and physical therapists, and raises more than $550,000 for THE ASSOCIATED's Annual Campaign.
Doctors' Division donors who give $1,000 or more to the Annual Campaign are distinguished as members of The Maimonides Society, recognizing their exceptional generosity to our community.
The Real Estate Industry Group welcomes all professionals in any type of real estate. Those who are not in the field but are interested in our events are welcome to attend as well. Many of our events are commercial in focus, but we are developing programs that will also engage those in the residential arena and welcome any suggestions or ideas!
Most of our programs are open to all community members, but there is a special minimum gift speaker's series for young adult donors of $500 or more.
Lawyers Division
After several years in hiatus, the Lawyers Division has been reinstituted as a Campaign division of THE ASSOCIATED: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore. The Division kicked off its first year for the 2007 Annual Campaign, and has already raised more than $388,000.
