Teen lounges are available in both JCC locations, providing a comfortable environment for kids to play games or watch TV with friends, participate in organized youth groups, work on school projects, and more. Our innovative year-round programming offers teens opportunities for leadership training, Jewish enrichment, physical fitness and social development.
Bnai Mitzvah students (11-13 years old) have the opportunity to participate together in hands-on community service projects through Young Lions. Many Young Lions seek hands-on meaningful service projects rather than solely raising money for a great cause; they are interested in direct contact with the community they are serving.
Young Lions participate in various projects within the community such as, Hackerman-Patz House at Sinai Hospital; Steven Kaufman AIDS Outreach Project; and the most current, Basketball Clinic at Cross Country Elementary School.
