Interethnic and Interfaith Dialogues

The BJC Interethnic and Interfaith Dialogues were formed to establish and maintain good relations between the Jewish community and other ethnic and faith groups in our area.  Through dialogue, the groups learn about each other to dispel stereotypes and build personal relationships so the groups can support each other on community and legislative issues that may develop - both positive and negative (ie., lobbying on a particular issue).

Meetings and programs focus on matters of mutual concern and relevance to the respective groups.  Interethnic initiatives have involved representatives from the Greek, Hispanic, Korean, Turkish and African American communities.  Interfaith initiatives have involved representative from the Muslim and Christian communities.
