The Baltimore Jewish Council, in conjunction with the Baltimore Police Department’s and Baltimore County Police Department’s Shield Programs, will be presenting Hazardous Material and Hazardous Device Training. The training will be presented by Explosive Technicians and Hazmat Teams, as well as the Health Department. The training will cover how to identify and handle suspicious mail and packages and what to do if you receive one, as well as what to expect when law enforcement and medical staff arrive on the scene.
The free training session will be held Monday, March 18, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, 7401 Park Heights Avenue.
Light dinner will be served. Dietary laws observed.
