Social Justice Teen Fellowship

The Baltimore Jewish Council & Elijah Cummings Youth Program in Israel (ECYP) are teaming up for a year-long teen fellowship program. The program will build relationships between teens of various faiths and ethnic backgrounds that prepare them to serve as community ambassadors on diversity and inclusion.

At the end of the 8 month program, the teens will be able to facilitate conversations among their peer groups on racism, anti-Semitism, diversity and social justice.

The group will:

  • Meet for an orientation in September 2017 at the Pearlstone Center

  • Participate in 4 social justice trainings throughout the fall and winter

  • Perform a group project in the spring

  • Celebrate and debrief with their fellow participants in April
