DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, November 11\, 2026 | 7:00 PM \nGordon Center Theater\, Gordon Center for Performing Arts \n\nFor the 88th anniversary of Kristallnacht\, join the Baltimore Community to remember. ANSCHEL is a powerful solo biodrama which tells the true story of Anschel\, an 11-year-old Polish Jewish boy whose life was forever changed when German soldiers overran Poland in 1939. Through extraordinary wit and courage\, Anschel repeatedly escaped Nazi capture\, surviving against all odds. By the end of World War II\, he was a teenager—and the only member of his family to survive the Holocaust.  The play is adapted from a memoir of the same name\, written by Renate Frydman. \nThis is his story.     \nREGISTER HERE\nTickets are $15; $12 for JCC members. There is a $1 per ticket fee. \nTHERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES OF GORDON CENTER TICKETS.
