Join us for an evening of commemorating the Night of Broken Glass as we learn about the Stolpersteine, otherwise known as Stumbling Stones, and the miraculous effort to mark the last addresses of choice of the victims of the Nazi party. Judy Gartner will share her moving experience of laying stones in Germany at the last known home of her grandparents before being taken by the Nazis. The Stolpersteine, started in 1992, now has placed over 100,000 stones in 26 countries. Join us to learn more about this program and the impact of remembrance across the globe.
Thursday, November 7th, 2024, at 7 p.m., at Beth El Congregation.
