The Baltimore Jewish Council is governed by a nine-member board of lay leaders, which has fiduciary responsibility for the BJC and its work. The BJC’s Board of Directors, comprised of representatives of most member organizations of the BJC, sets the policy positions on behalf of the community. The BJC operates day-to-day with a professional staff of 10, led by Executive Director Howard Libit.
