WHAT WE DO

The Baltimore Jewish Council is the political and community relations arm of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore and its agencies. The BJC represents Jewish organizations and congregations in the Greater Baltimore area and throughout Maryland on social, political and humanitarian issues affecting Jews locally, nationally and worldwide. In addition to its legislative advocacy, the BJC works to strengthen interfaith and intrafaith relationships, to educate about and advocate for Israel and the U.S.-Israel relationship, to honor and remember the six million Jews who died in the Holocaust, to fight against antisemitism and hate, and to develop young Jewish leaders.
