GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
The Baltimore Jewish Council, a coalition of central Maryland Jewish organizations and congregations, advocates at all levels of government, on a variety of social welfare, economic and religious concerns, to protect and promote the interests of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, its agencies and the Greater Baltimore Jewish community.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS COMMITTEE
The Government Relations Committee (GRC) is responsible for monitoring and adopting positions on federal, state and local legislation. It serves as a vehicle for developing public policy resolutions and positions. The GRC also engages in political activism on behalf of the organized Jewish community. The GRC meets several times each year to discuss public policy issues. Each year the GRC hosts Advocacy Day in Annapolis, which gives our constituents the opportunity to lobby legislators on behalf of the Greater Baltimore Jewish community.
