Join the Baltimore Jewish Council and Jewish Community Services as they partner to bring you this informational session on How to Cope with Stress in a World Where Gun Violence Exists.

Hear from:

  • Officer Carey Kus (Baltimore County Police) about ways to protect yourself during an event of gun violence;
  • Brittni Barcase (Prevention and Wellness Education Manager, Jewish Community Services) and Jennifer Rudo (Coordinator of Wellness Programming and Mentoring, Jewish Community Services) about ways to handle the stress of the current outlook on gun violence in America; and
  • Melissa Ladd (Maryland State Campaigns Leader, Mom’s Demand Action) about what is being done at the state level to prevent these tragic incidents in Maryland.

An opportunity for Q&A will follow the presentations from our speakers.
