The One Park Heights Initiative

The One Park Heights Initiative is a campaign of unity promoted by a coalition of nonprofit and faith-based organizations, and community leaders, working through the Northwest Baltimore Partnership.  The One Park Heights initiative builds understanding between members of the diverse community that comprises greater Park Heights. We collaborate with community leaders to build their capacity as they collectively strengthen all neighborhoods in Park Heights.

How are we building community?

• Bringing neighbors together and building relationships.
• Ensuring community events and programs are inviting and welcoming to all.
• Creating opportunities to break down cultural assumptions and barriers

What are we working on together?

• Ensuring the investment in the Pimlico Race Course builds value for the entire community.
• Engaging in community beautification and safety projects.
• Supporting opportunities for housing and economic development.
