The Baltimore Jewish Council is seeking to give voters the opportunity to learn more about the candidates for Maryland Governor, and the candidates for State Senate and House of Delegates in Districts where many members of the Jewish community live.

We asked candidates for Governor, as well as the candidates for State Senate and House of Delegates in Districts 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 41, 42, 43, and 46, to answer a short list of questions covering areas of interest to our BJC leadership and community. Topics include education, the environment, Maryland’s relationship with Israel, and hate crimes.

All candidates were contacted through the campaign email addresses they used to file their candidacy with the Maryland State Board of Election. We are posting all of the responses that we have received so far, and as more candidates submit responses, we will add them online as quickly as possible.

If candidates who have not yet submitted responses would like to answer the questionnaire, the form can be found here at Candidate Questionnaire BJC Primary 2022, and responses should be submitted to info@baltjc.org

Note: The Baltimore Jewish Council does not make candidate endorsements. The responses to this questionnaire are intended only to help inform voters.
